In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents in 1983, Salisbury University students and teachers collected folk life material. For this project, Donna Palmer conducted a research on three legends from Dorchester County, Maryland. In addition to the tales, the interviews reveal some interesting details on slavery and the Civil War. A map of Dorchester County and other pictures are enclosed.
